Feed Issue

My 5100 tn has started to have an issue feeding paper from the tray. It doesn't pull the paper out of the tray, then it stops and says paper jam.

The likely problem is the pickup roller which is a half round and with a flat side. Shaped a bit like a wedge of an orange. They wear out over time. They are easy to replace but to get by until you can obtain one from a spares supplier you can remove it and then reverse the rubber sleeve so the inside is on the outside. This is a temporary fix. The pickup roller is at the front of the printer just where the paper is picked up by the machine. Cleaning with alcohol of any debris can also solve the problem. Check also that there is no bits of paper left in the paper path to cause a paper jam. This is a link to your device:
