The error means your printer firmware is older than the job that someone is trying to print. The printer does not understand the new codes.

Go to HP site and check what the latest firmware is and upload that to your printer. The Firmware is free. Before doing it print you printer configuration page and look for the Firmware version. It will usually start with the year like 2015 the followed the month and Day and them a firmware version, Example.
