U.s. Purchased Player Giving 'wrong Region' Code For U.s. Purchased Dvd.

I purchased my player in the U.S. I just tried playing a DVD, also purchased in the U.S., and the player is giving a 'wrong region' code. What is wrong?

Sorry for your problems. Your Haier player will play DVDs only with a region code of 1, and that requirement cannot be changed.
