How Do I Get My Phone Completely On Again?

hi.. i was downloading apps on my htc droid incredible 2 yesterday and I realized my phone started moving pretty slow. So i started to delete some of the apps but it didnt make a difference. Now, when I turn my phone on (without being plugged into my laptop), it doesn't get past the boot start up, it stops at the "droid eye" and the phone will go on but the screen doesn't change from that. I know this because I can put it in sleep mode and it vibrates. However, when I have my phone plugged into my comp, it will get past the boot and go to my normal lock screen with my wallpaper in the background. Once i go past the lock screen, the wallpaper disappears, no apps show, nothing. The only thing that shows is the notification bar and the only way I am able to access apps on my phone is from that (but its only my task manager app). Please help. I really need my phone. How do I fix this?
