Down Grade Operating System
I have a gigabyte E1500 with windows 7 starter factory installed, I want to down grade my os to win xp (prof) where do I get all the driver for win xp & will my system work correctly

XP drivers may be downloaded from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3627&dl=1#driver
Make sure you have them before you do the down grade to make your life simpler. If at all possible store them on the laptops hard disk or an external hard disk for easy access.
If you plan to wipe the hard disk then do not store the new files there (just thougth I'd mention that).
There is no reason why the laptop won't work just fine on XP.
Be aware that a clean install will be best. I.e. erase the entire disk and install cleanly from scratch.

There are no drivers for Windows XP on Gigabyte's site. You need drivers for: chipset, video, audio, lan, wlan, Card Reader (same as for Windows 7). But Windows XP setup program doesn't see hard drive in AHCI mode in your laptop. So you have to integrate Intel SATA driver in windows install cd. How to do it is described here. Good luck.
