Red Light(not Blinking) On The Opener Is On All The Time, What Is The Problem?

Red light(not blinking) on the opener is on all the time, what is the problem? We have a problem with programming the opener, and try to test the opener, it does not work but if we use the remote, it works, however after a few trial, the red light is on and it stays on since. How to solve this issue.
