Ge Power Vent Water Heater

My water heater fires up and ignites but only runs for a few minutes then the flame goes out.It tries to restart several times then locks out due to max start ups.Is there a coil on the gas valve that might be bad.

I just went through this you need to call GE to have them send you the part its called a "Combustion shutoff device " and is located inside of your tank

some times u might have a water leak n its blocking the small holes on the side of vents. U will have to push down on the insulation to find out if u have a leak thats blocking those two holes.
