How To Reset An Fv Sensor On A Ge Model Gg50s06rvk

Have tried unplugging. Is there a proceedure for holding buttons down or is this model non-resettable?

This sensor is crap. If it senses any vapors ( gas , paint, etc. it goes off and that is the end of it, it has to be replaced. You can if you want try to reset it. Unplug the hot water tank and wait a bit . Plug it back in and hold the two buttons ( cooler - hotter) below the row of lights. When (if ) the green light starts to blink release the buttonsa nd press them in this order.L R L L R L R R

(COOLER BEING Left AND HOTTER BEING Right)

Oh if it is the sensor the green light will be lit as well as A & B lights any other issues and the reset may work for you.
