Is There A Certain Way To Fold Out The Stand On The Monitor, Or Is It Just Stiff

It feels like it will break if I pull any harder, but its not even out enough to hold up monitor

Yes, I believe that the stand of the monitor is adjustable/foldable. The steps might be located in the user's manual of the device. You can download the user's manual from the following links:
