How Do I Disable The Beeping Sound From Happening After Unplugging/plugging?

I just had to reinstall windows 7 onto my laptop because i had a virus and now whenever i plug in or unplug my laptop it makes this really loud and annoying sound is there any way that i can stop this from happening?

I had the same problem: go to the sounds icon near the computer clock and right click there. Then click playback devices - highlight speakers - click properties - levels tab - mute the pc speakers. That will mute that sound but not your regular speakers.
