Can Not Reinstall Full System Recovery Using F8 On Bootup
Windows Vista
Had successfully reinstalled complete operating system from protected boot sector. System was working fine. Then proceeded with Windows updates install. Power failed in middle of process. Now system will not boot up to windows. I tried to reinstall the system from scratch again but now using the F8 key does not give me an option to reinstall the system. It just states that Windows shutdown unexpectedly. I have tried Safe Mode, and all the other selections and nothing allows the system to reinstall the software. All I get is a blank screen and a cursor that moves with the mouse but nothing else. I have waited even up to 90 miniutes thinnking it is trying to recover from some point. Do not have recovery disks.
