Why Doesn't The Ice Auger Work When We Put A Glass Against The Dispensing Paddle

If you hear the auger motor running but the auger isn't moving then it would be frozen in place or the ice in the bucket needs to be accomodated. If you do not hear the motor running you may need a brand new motor which includes a service professional visiting your home.
