Epson Smart Panel Program For Epson Scanner 3170 And Windows 7.

I can't find the epson smart panel program for epson scanner 3170 and windows 7.

I had a different Epson scanner with Smart Panel but this should still work. Go to:newsoftinc.com/download/index.php? and download the Smart Panel 4.0 trial. New Soft is the third party company that made the original Smart Panel software for xp. Then go to Epson and download the latest driver for your scanner. Install both the Smart Panel and the driver. If any error message pop up check the troubleshooting guide on newsoftinc.com and follow their suggestions. I was able to get Smart Panel to work on my Windows 7, 32 bit laptop. There is a fee for the trial program after 30 days. Epson's solution is to try another scan program called Vue Scan which works to manually scan but without the benefits of Smart Panel. If you do try Vue Scan, you will need to manually delete the scanner driver in order for Smart Panel to work. Vue Scan does not delete the scanner driver when you uninstall the Vue Scan program.
