Hello djohnson48! Such a good question; after looking at your washer (model EWFLS70JSS) I noticed that the manufacture does recommended to use a low-sudsing, high efficiency detergent. Looking at the Tide Pods I do see that they are high efficiency detergent and are designed to be thrown into the wash with the clothes. I would recommend following the instructions that come with the detergent for best results.

Hope this helps!
