Wt Is The Reason Of Using A Stand Pipe For Draining Washing Machine Water

Wt Will Be The Problem If Washing Machine Drain Pipe Will Be Connected To Floor Grating Instead Of Using Stand Pipe.

Hello indrasamal – Typically, it is recommended that the drain hose must be mounted a minimum of 24 inches from the floor. The reason for this is to prevent the water from draining from the machine. If the drain pipe is lower a siphon effect could occur and cause all the water to drain out of the unit during the cycle or as it fills.
