Try pressing your SOURCE (sometimes called Input) button. This should bring up a menu saying something like TV - HDMI 1 - HDMI 2 - VIDEO - PC etc. Using the Arrow Keys on your remote Select your TV MODE. For Cable or Satellite this is usually one of the HDMI settings. If the correct setting is hi-lighted, your TV signal should kick in and the auto scan should disappear.
