You are one of the lucky few people who hear the beep code. Listen carefully to the beeps it makes when it boots up, and record how many there are and how long they are. Beep codes are error codes computers use when their is an internal problem. Now you will need to find out your motherboard's BIOS manufacturer. To find this watch your system startup screen for information about the BIOS brand and version, such as Award BIOS v4.51PG. Use a hardware test-and-reporting utility, such as AMIDiag, CheckIt, or others. The three most common BIOS manufacturers are AMI, Award, and Phoenix. Here are lists for all the error codes and their solutions for each BIOS manufacturer.

AMI-http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/ami-beep-codes.htm

Award-http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/award-beep-codes.htm

Phoenix-http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/phoenix-beep-codes.htm

If all this seems too complicated or you don't want to go through all the trouble, take it to best buy or another place that fixes computers and they will fix it in a timely manner.
