Hi kenttr,

I'm a part of Dell Social Media Team. Kindly refer to "Enclosure Midplane" from page 87 onwards, in the Owner's Manual http://dell.to/1mviwtF for step by step assistance in on the same.

CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.

Hi,

Replacing the midplane is not easy, you have to remove all blades, power supplies and i/o fabrics. Page 87 shows how to remove it. ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_poweredge/poweredge-m1000e_Owner%27s%20Manual_en-us.pdf
