Dell Latitude E6400 XFR Support Question

Power On
My laptop does not want to power on, if connect the charger, the charging light does not come on and the laptop also does not work with the charger plugged. the blue charger light on the charger cable is on but the charging indicator light on the laptop does not switch on.
