Can A New Battery Help My Inspiron 1764 With The White Screen?

Hi ddmcre,

I'm a part of Dell Social Media Team. Kindly try the steps listed below and let me know if that helps, as this has worked for our customers:

Remove the battery and disconnect the power cord (from the laptop)
Press power button for about 15 seconds
Connect the power cord. Press the power button to start and then dock the battery
