Dell Inspiron 1764 Will Not Start While Battery Is Installed

Hi Msauccarrob,
1.Try to power on the system with the Adapter connected and make sure adapter.
2. If still no go, Remove the battery and try to power on the system with the adapter connected to the system and battery disconnected.
3. If still no go, try swapping the adapter with another good known dell adapter and power on the system.
