Dell 2005 Fpw Monitor
I have my laptop computer set for duel screens I can only see the laptop screen, however I have a Dell Monitor 2005 FPW as the second monitor hooked up. I can only see the Gray, red green, blue, and white 3" square box going diagonally on my external screen. It was working fine, but why now I have mostly a black screen with the colored box going on my monitor?

Hi Alan,
Would request you to Press and hold the FN + F8 key and check if that changes the display from laptop to the monitor.
The color screen on the monitor indicates that there are no issues with the monitor and its passing the monitor self-test. Please try a different VGA cable and check if you are getting any display.
