Monitor Flashes On And Off

After sleep mode and particularly when Firefox is open to web pages, my monitor flashes on and off and I have to force shut down and reboot.  Why is this happening?

Try to reinstall the client of your Dell 1737 laptop because your currently installed browser may have a conflict with your computer display driver. You should use the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox which can be downloaded here.
