Base Unit
I have installed the device downstairs where my cable comes in from the cable modem into the router. When I add another one upstairs, do I only hook the base unit directly to the computer via the ethernet cable and plug the power into the wall outlet? We have wi fi laptops and the signals keep knocking me off my personal computer and I was told this is what I needed to prevent this.
