Continuous Beeping On Dx2300 Microtower
My issue can be summed up by saying: during the start-up of the computer, the tower will beep continuously, accompanied by a flashing LED indicator. The flashing will occur in sets of five flashes, with a small pause at the end of each set. During this brief pause, it is enough time for one beep (sound) to occur, before the process indefinitely repeats. Please HELP!!!???

Hp says these are common beep codes but you need to look up the codes for the actual motherboard you have. Open up your case and look for a model number or use this http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.htm...
1 short beep and 1 long beep Memory problem
2 short beeps and 1 long beep (repeats 5 times) Unable to initialize video or video card required but not installed
3 short beeps and 1 long beep CPU configuration error or CPU type is not compatible
Its an old computer my first guess would be some RAM died or your video died 95% chance. Part swapping can also diagnose the problem.
