Rebooting

I bought a compaq evo n410c notebook laptop and when I turn it on the screen has a black screen with a blue square that says power on with a picture of a key

That usually means that you have a power on password and it is asking for the password key. There are ways to remove it but not easy in this short answer. I have attached a link to HP for your device. Has someone had access to your PC or do you remember creating one?
