What Is The Garo Monitor?

I need to run the maintenance on the ipf8000. There is an error message that says the GARO monitor has not been installed. What is the Garo monitor?

GARO Status Monitor is a software utility that monitors the status of the printer and manages print jobs. More here. (You can download from the link.)
