My Pixma 882 Is Not Using The Ink Correctly
When printing or copying to the PIXMA 882, the system is using the 225PGBK at all times, bypassing the 226BK. When the PGBK runs out it stops printing until replaced, and it's getting frustrating, and expensive. I'm using plain paper, printing or copying documents only and haven't made any greyscale adjustments. I've replaced the cartridges, did cleans, checked alignment and restarted the unit, as well as rebooting the entire computer system, but no change. Can someone help me?

- This printer uses Ink really really fast in comparison to Epson and HP.
- Another major flaw is even when you are printing in Black and White the printer still uses your color cartridges.
I'm sorry there seems to a disfunctional ink usage problem. I suggest you go here to ensure you have the latest software drivers.
