Eos 7d Wft Transmitter Issue

I have a canon EOS 7D with WFT transmitter. I have it hardwired via FTP to one of my servers. I'm having connection issues where the photos I take will transfer for about 4 mins and then the WFT connection will drop for no reason. I have to turn off the camera and turn it back on for the connection to happen again. This issue started happening around a week ago. I didn't do anything different or changed anything with the camera. I have a static ip address assigned to it. Everything was working fine for months until this connectivity issue started happening about a week ago.Can someone tell me what the problem is?
