Format Memory Card
can't format memory when inserted in camera. The format icon not illuminating when scroll arrows it skips icon.

If you cannot format the memory card using your Canon PowerShot A620 camera, use the computer to directly format the memory card. These are the steps that you need to follow.
1. Connect the USB data cable of your Canon PowerShot A620 camera to your computer
2. Click Start/Windows logo
3. Open My Computer/Computer
4. Locate the drive for your camera's memory card
5. Right click the drive and click Format option
6. The memory card will begin to be reformatted
