Canon Pixma Mp499 Prints Only First Part Of A4 Page Although Print Preview Is Ok
I'm trying to print from a Windows Vista laptop to a Canon Pixma MP499. The printer cartridges are new and I have cleared a problem with the paper feed caused by a piece of plastic. The problem is that the printer prints only the first half of the page - less if it is printing graphics. The Windows printer test page prints to the line 'Monitor: Canon BJ Language Monitor MP495 series' but not the rest of the page. The Nozzle Check page appears to print normally but this only occupies the upper half of the page. Why won't the printer print the lower half of any page? Print preview looks normal, pront quality is good and diagnostics can't find the problem.
