Troubleshooting - Won't Print
I just inherited a PT-1180, but it does not print. The tape does advance as if it is printing, however it comes out blank. There is a spring-loaded wire with the rollers (near the cutting blade) that I believe may be broken. The bottom half of it is in line with the roller pins, however the top half is sticking out and rests against the tape when everything is engaged. I'm attaching two photos in hope that you can see the wire and advise me on what to do to repair it.
