Lcd Screen Blank

The LCD display screen is blank. I tried resetting it as the manual says, but it hasn't corrected the problem. Do you have a manual that allows you to trouble shoot what could be wrong with the machine. With out the display I am unable to use it. I try sewing a straight stitch, the machine will run for 10 seconds or so and stop.
