Base Unit Not Detected
I have been away for 5 weeks with all power to the home turned off, including phone. I have come home and unable to use phone and it is coming up BASE UNIT NOT DETETED. Please help me. Susan

Hi. You need to set the machine so it is in Fax/Tel mode.
Press MENU.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Initial Setup and press Initial Setup.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Receive Mode and press Receive Mode.
Press Fax/Tel.
Press STOP/ EXIT.
The LCD will display F/T.
To set the F/T Ring Time follow the steps listed below:
Press MENU.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Fax and press Fax.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Setup Receive and press Setup Receive.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display F/T Ring Time and press F/T Ring Time.
Press how long the machine will ring to alert you that you have a voice call.
Press the STOP/ EXIT key to exit the menu.
Press MENU.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Initial Setup and press Initial Setup.
Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Receive Mode and press Receive Mode.
Press Fax/Tel.
Press STOP/ EXIT.
