How do you fix a needle position on a Brother sewing machine?

Changing the default needle position to be in the center when you turn on the machine

Turn on the sewing machine.

Press. on the display panel.

Press. until the following screen appears.

Change the setting by pressing. to select the center position. The option selected is shaded.

When settings are complete, press.

Raise the needle to its highest position by turning the handwheel toward you. - Select stitch 2 by turning the pattern selection dial in either direction. - To set your needle in the Left position, set your stitch width dial to No. 5.
