Condensation Problem?

I've got a 5040 which takes 6 minutes to decide to print the first document of the day. After it's done that everything is fine. I'm told there may be a condensation problem and to leave the printer door open overnight. This hasn't worked. I'm told there is a "condensation" setting somewhere in the guts of the printer. how do I check that
