My Brush Will No Longer Rotate. What Is Wrong? How Do I Fix This?

Recently I was using the vacuume and I sucked up the cord to a pair of sweat pants. I quickly pulled back as to not get the cord wrapped around the brush inside. After the cord was pulled back out the vacuume brush will no longer spin. What can I do? How do I fix?

First, make sure to check the cord for damage. If there is damage do not use until an BISSELL Authorized Service Center (ASC) replaces the cord. This is fairly inexpensive to fix. Next, the unit may need to be unplugged after the obstruction is removed. If this doesn't help, you may have stretched or broken the belt.
