Why Spin Brush Not Spinning And Has A Burning Smell.
My Bissell Rewind Vacuum spin brush just stop spinning and has a burning smell. Took apart, cleaned the brush and the belt is like new. When tried to manually turned the right side of the spin brush it would get stuck. Now little slivers of plastic or melt is dropping from that area. Does it need to be replaced to resolve this problem?

Yes, you will need to replace the brushroll. Make sure the housing that the brush sits in is intact and not cracked, melted, or deformed. Here is a link to purchase the brush and it would be a good idea to replace the belt too.
