Asus Pz77 -v Pro Motherboard

I have built a new system using the Asus PZ77-V pro motherboard. It will not let me install Windows XP. It loads all the files from Cd then hangs up. I have updated the bios and still get the same result. Any idea's

Here is a link below that should help you with the support of your motherboard. If you want to update the bios or drivers just go to the download tab and select which operating system you are using.

First, use Win XP with SP3 (see http://winsupersite.com/windows-xp/slipstreaming-windows-xp-service-pack-3-sp3).

Second change the BIOS setting for drives to IDE. This allows Win XP to see them.

Win XP then loads into the selected drive.
