New Ram Not Working, Not Compatible?
I have 2X new 4gb Patriot Sector 5 ddr3 1333MHz (9-9-9-24) 1.65v RAM set. The mother board will start to boot and have a BSD error at different times during startup sometimes even all the way to Windows 8 Login. I tried with a different type and brand of ram and it works fine. are there setttings I can change to get these ram chips to work? Or are they just not compatible?

Obviously, there might be a problem with the compatibility of your Patriot brand of RAM since you have mentioned that you have tried other brand but it works fine. Based on the product specifications of this motherboard, it supports the following RAM information
- DDR3 1066
- DDR3 1333
- DDR3 1600
- DDR3 1866
Honestly, Patriot brand is not a popular RAM brand and it might not be compatible with your latest motherboard. Please use the RAM cards that were previousl worked fine. You can read the full specifications below:
