Steps For Recovering From Recovery Dvd

i have tried to recover my asus k55vd-sx314r for the first time using recovery dvd to entire hd with two partitions which was provided by the dealers.Is there any ways that can slow the performance of my laptop if i did not used the correct steps.P;ease help me with detial correct steps.

If you are trying to reest your notebook to factory settings and that is still the orginal HD. I suggest you just restart your computer and press F9. Just make sure you save all your important information as everything will be erased.

If this is a new hard drive then you restart your computer and press ESC to boot for dvd. After you are done, go to our support site and update to the latest bios and drivers.
