Disabling The Bios Password
I bought my asus ux31a from bestbuy payed $900 and some change. anyway i set up a bios password right away. but i soon tierd of entering it all the time so i went to the bios to disable it and now its asking for a password and the original one dosn't work! please help. shouldn't asus have to pay for the repairs its a software defect?

If it is a software-related issue, then no, Asus would not cover the costs towards repair. Manufacturer warranties cover most hardware-related issues--not software.
That said, I would recommend calling Asus Support and advising them of the issue. See if they can troubleshoot a solution for you. Depending on what the issue is, they may be able to get you up & running again without cost. Alternatively, you may pursue service repair options.
