Asus A54c Dvd Viewer Software
My laptop won't play dvd's which is a real issue as I can't even use a printer installer dvd...the manual says I need to get dvd viwer software...where do I get that from?

Greetings - A typical DVD viewer is "Power DVD" which can be downloaded online. However, this software bridges the gap for movies only as data DVDs were not support to require any software. The laptop's disc drive is either a CDs only or it is mechanically defect.

Just note that you can copy the printer's DVD content on to a computer that reads DVDs and then transfer it to a USB stick which you can then plug onto your laptop just to install the printer.
