Ipod Skips From One Book To Another

I use my ipod, model #mb562ll, to listen to audio books from Audible.com.  I have previously used a Nano with no problems.  With this iPod, however, it will skip to the next book for no reason.  It also freezes up and I have to press the menu/button combo to get it to work again.  Please help me!

That iPod model was not meant to play audiobooks, not enough memory - it was meant for iTunes/mp3s. Sorry/ :-(
