Acer Monitor Showing Low Resolution

I have an Acer monitor X173W that shows images in low resolution and shows the black as dark green. I discarded problems with computer configuration and cable because another same model monitor works fine with the same computer. Do you have some information to try to service by myself (have some electronics background)? Thanks in advance Jose Navarro

  From the Start menu, click Settings and then Control Panel.

  Double-click Display.

  Click the Settings tab.

  Select the monitor that you want to change if you have more than one monitor.
- 5
  Move the Screen Area slider from left to right until your display is set to the resolution or screen size that you want.
- 6
  Click Apply to see what the new resolution will look like.

  Click OK to accept the changes.
