Yes, your ACER RC111 supports 3TB Hard Disk Drive (Up to four 3.5" hot-swappable SATA HDDs). Remember that it only supports SATA type of hard disks so you have to be careful in the types of hard disk drive. Also, your ACER only supports up to 8 Terabytes of SATA type hard disk drive.

yes i have 3 of them in my server. 3X3Tb westrern digital green serie plus the 2Tb that was on it

While the appliance may support HDs larger than 2TB, the OS on it will have some trouble. WHS 2011 splits large hard drives into partitions, which cause headaches regarding the span of large files and backing up.
