Colors Are All 'wrong' On My Acer G196hql Monitor...

I recently noticed after rebooting my PC today that my Acer monitor is showing multiple hues/shades of the color blue (fluorescent light like??) in place of the normal colors of my Windows 7 desktop;I would appreciate any assistance in getting my desktop colors back to there original state!!Thanks in advance for a reply!!

When the colours on your external Acer LCD monitor do not look correct, use the following steps to resolve the problem:

Update the monitor driver

Download and install the latest drivers for your monitor:
Visit the Download section of Acer support website.
Enter your model name, and select your product from the list of suggested models.
Choose your Operating System from the pop up menu, and click Confirm.
Select the Driver tab and then click the orange arrow next to Monitor Driver.
Click Save and select where you want to download the file.

For additional information on how to install the downloaded driver, please visit Monitor Driver Installation in Windows Vista and Windows 7 or Monitor Driver Installation in Windows XP, depending on the version of your Operating System.

Optimise colour settings on the monitor

Use the on-screen menu of your monitor to set the brightness, contrast and colour temperature to your preference. On selected models, you can also set the intensity for a finer degree of control and select specific profiles in eColor Management, to suit the tasks you perform. Please check your product manual on how to perform this on your specific model.
