Question About Changing The Cmos Battery On An Acer Extensa 4420-5239 Laptop

Hi, i have an Acer extensa 4420-5239, i have recently received a message at the start up saying in conclusion: " warning 0251 system CMOS checksum bad - default configuration used".I checked about that on the internet and apparently i need to change the CMOS battery, do you suggest i do that on my own or preferably have it changed by a computer technician ?

It's according to whether you are comfortable going into the laptop. Go here for a visual guide to changing it yourself, it's not rocket science, you can do it.
