Reuse Old Cd-rom Player From Acer Laptop
I have old Acer Extensa and new Acer Aspire Onee. Can I remove CD-ROM player from WExtensa and connect to netbook?

Nope. Not compatible.
Better bet is to buy a USB CD drive and use that. For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=external+usb+cd&x=0&y=0
