Acer Aspire One 725-0687 Screen Locks Up

Acer Aspire One 725-0687 locks on "Do not turn off your computer Please wait" OR "Please wait" OR "Preparing to configure Windows Do not turn off your computer" AND during repair attempts.

I guess you are trying to restore to a prior update. Watch this visual for factory restore of your system, save all personal data to an external device.
